RELATED: Modern Action Movies That Have Awesome Stunt Work

When thinking of the most recognizable Jackass stunts, there are a few that come to mind. This list is chock-full of some of the wildest, best remembered, and overall craziest stunts that have been pulled in the series’ history.

Warning: this list will feature material that is unsafe, sensitive, and/or not safe for work. View at your own discretion.

8 The Brand

Bam Margera is often the butt of the Jackass crews’ jokes, and this particular stunt was no different. Featured in Jackass 2, it involved a heated-up cattle brand in a personalized phallic shape, being brazenly placed upon Bam’s posterior by Ryan Dunn.

This was gross purely because branding is not something that should readily be done to human skin. The healing process can’t have been good, let alone the pain of it being done! It may not be the nastiest stunt they ever pulled, but many people distinctly remember this one.

7 Beehive Limo

In some fans’ opinions, Beehive Limo is underrated. Not only is it a dangerous and dastardly prank, but it taps into true fear and panic. It then adds another level of inconvenience with the ball-bearings spread on the ground outside the limo.

The poor souls of the crew think they’re on the way to a photoshoot, and so are just hanging around in the back of the limo, when suddenly an entire box of bees is dropped through the roof. Absolute chaos ensues, with Ryan Dunn trying to kick out the window in an attempt to escape. Bee stings hurt, and this makes it an eye-watering watch.

6 Ram Jam

This isn’t about the band — though ‘Black Betty’ is a great track. No, this stunt involves Steve-O and Ryan Dunn, an angry male sheep, and some brass instruments. Just a normal day, huh?

The picture says it all. Steve-O can see what’s going to happen, and he’s not excited. The two head into a corral with a very irate ram, and attempt to play it some relaxing tunes on their horns. This, obviously, does not go to plan so Steve-O tries to clamber out while Ryan gets annihilated by the ungrateful animal.

5 Toro Totter

This is an absolute classic. Events in Jackass 2 go from bad to worse for a lot of the cast, and the Toro Totter stunt is no exception. The crew constructed a fairground ride-esque contraption — a four-way seesaw.

The intent was to avoid a gigantic bull while also literally dropping the opposing cast member in it toward the ground. The stunt had four members, including Chris Pontius, who is actually deathly afraid of bulls. Go figure. Never admit your fears around the Jackass crew.

4 The High-Five

The High-Five is by no means the grossest, gnarliest, or greatest stunt, but it is absolutely a classic that pops into the minds of many when they think of Jackass. Appearing in Jackass 3D, it became an instant classic.

What is it? It’s a giant foam hand on a spring-loaded arm that just whacks people off their feet in the Jackass offices. What a way to start the day, eh? No one was safe from this — official crew members, office staff, you name it — they all got slapped.

3 The Snake Pit

This is a choice that is so high up on the list because of the true, absolute fear, that it inspires in a grown adult. It is no secret that Bam Margera has a huge fear of snakes, so unfortunately, the crew decided to make this into a stunt to really test his might.

It’s grim, but not because of bodily fluids or wounds; Bam is on the edge of tears because he’s so scared, which is kind of hilarious — but put yourself into a situation with this much terror, and it’s easy to see why this is so daunting. He walks through a trailer and is dropped into a pit filled with snakes. Big ones, small ones, pythons, boas — there are all kind of snake in there. Obviously, no one rushes to help.

2 Poo Cocktail Supreme

You didn’t think there’d be no bodily fluids in this list, did you? Well, here’s possibly the most featured in one stunt in the history of Jackass: the Poo Cocktail Supreme.

It is as grim as it sounds. In case readers don’t remember, this involved a very full port-a-loo being attached to a bungee. And the lucky soul taking a ride in it? Steve-O, of course. It’s grim — hilarious, but grim. It’s also truly horrendous. Seeing any human being launched into the air and covered head to foot in excretion is a test of the senses.

1 Riot Control Test

The most memorable, and probably one of the most painful stunts in Jackass history is another from the second movie: the Riot Control Test. This brings the cast to their knees physically, mentally, and emotionally.

The guys decide they want to test out some riot-grade weaponry, such as the rubber ball claymore. Ryan Dunn, Bam Margera, and Johnny Knoxville take to the stage and willingly have the weapon unloaded on them. The worst hit was Bam, who was reduced to a fetal position and tears as the pain set in. He can’t be blamed — it looks unbelievably painful.

Jackass Forever is in cinemas on February 4th.
